Single theme

Buy one theme outright

from £129

one-time · per theme

The right choice if one theme fits your store and you do not expect to change it. You get that theme and its updates, and nothing else.

  • One theme, one live store, licence key issued on purchase
  • Every update to that theme, for as long as we maintain it
  • Email support for that theme
  • Support that fixes the theme, or a refund if we cannot
  • Not included: any other theme, now or later
  • Not included: themes we publish after your purchase

Each theme page shows its own price and what the licence covers. Read the licence terms before you buy.

The exact scope

What £249 covers, and what it does not

Founding Access covers every theme published on or before the day your 12-month window closes — the 1 in the catalogue today included, not only the ones that come after you buy. Those themes stay yours after the window closes, and so do their updates. Anything published after that date is a separate purchase.

Bought separately, the 1 themes published today come to £129. That is the honest comparison: Founding Access is worth it if you want more than one theme, and it is not worth it if you want exactly one.

Included

Everything below is part of the one payment. There is no upgrade tier above it.

  • All 1 themes published today, worth £129 bought one at a time
  • Every theme we publish before your 12-month window closes
  • Permanent access to every theme collected in that window, including after it closes
  • Every future update to those themes, for as long as we maintain them
  • A single-store licence per theme, covering 1 live store each
  • Licence keys issued at purchase and listed in your account
  • Email support from the two people who wrote the code
  • Support that fixes the theme, or refunds it if we cannot

Not included

We would rather you read this list before paying than discover it afterwards.

  • Not included: themes published after your 12-month window closes
  • Not included: a second live store for the same theme — that needs a second licence
  • Not included: agency licensing, which covers up to 25 client stores and is priced per theme
  • Not included: installation, migration, data import or bespoke design work
  • Not included: custom development, or changes we make specifically for your store
  • Not included: any promise about how many themes we will publish in your window

The window

How the 12-month window works

Your window opens on the day your payment clears and closes 12 months later to the day. Membership is not deleted when it closes: it simply stops adding new themes, and everything already in your account stays downloadable.

We do not sell lifetime access, and we will not pretend to. Promising every future theme to everyone who paid once is how a studio ends up unable to fund the next build. A written limit is the reason we can keep publishing at all.

  1. Day 0

    You pay once

£249 leaves your account and nothing is stored for a repeat charge. Your account is created automatically and every published theme becomes downloadable straight away.

  2. Months 1–12

New themes land in your account

Each theme we publish inside the window is added to your downloads with its own licence key. You are emailed when it happens; there is nothing to claim or activate.

  3. Month 12

    The window closes

Nothing is taken away. Every theme collected inside the window stays in your account permanently, and you keep receiving updates to those themes.

  4. Afterwards

Later themes are a separate purchase

A theme published after your window closes is not part of what you bought. You can buy it outright at its own price, or take a founding place again if the programme is still open.

Licensing

Single-store licence or agency licence

A single-store licence covers 1 live store; an agency licence covers up to 25 live client stores for one theme. Which one you need depends on whether you own the store the theme runs on.

Agency licences are deliberately not on the checkout. They are priced per theme, we want the client names on the invoice, and we would rather answer two questions by email than have you discover the limit halfway through a build. Founding Access does not include agency rights for any theme.

Money questions

What people ask before paying

Direct answers to the questions that decide the purchase. If yours is missing, email us and we will answer it in a sentence rather than a brochure.

No. It is a single payment of £249. Nothing renews, no card is stored for a repeat charge, and there is nothing to cancel later.

Every theme published inside your window stays in your account permanently and keeps receiving updates. Themes published after the window closes are not included, and you would buy those individually or take a founding place again if the programme is still open.

We will not name a number, because a number would tempt us to pad the catalogue to hit it. If a guaranteed count is what makes the maths work for you, buy the single theme you actually want instead.

When one theme fits your store and you do not expect to change it. A single theme costs £129; Founding Access only pays for itself from the second theme onwards.

No. Each licence covers 1 live store, and Founding Access issues one single-store licence per theme. A second live store on the same theme needs a second licence, or an agency licence covering up to 25 stores.

A single-store licence, bought in the client's name or transferred to them on handover, is correct for one client store. An agency licence only makes sense once you expect to install the same theme for several clients.

No. ThemeStack is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added at checkout and none is shown on your receipt. The price on this page is the amount charged.

There is no automatic refund: the download starts immediately and you confirm at checkout that this ends the right to cancel. What we do instead is fix the problem. Email us with what is wrong and we will put it right; if we cannot make the theme work as described, we refund it, less the payment processing fee our payment provider does not return to us.

100 founding places are still open

If you are still weighing it up, the theme pages are the better read: each one lists its script budget, its licence terms and a live demo store you can measure yourself before spending anything.
